Welcome to The Friends of R.B.C. Inc.
First, a brief history :
The Friends of RBC, Inc. is a charity organization and Turkʼs Think Tank
and Bait Shop website is a tribute to their creator Robert/Bob
Churchill, AKA Turk, and his endeavors to create a grassroots
framework to assist people in need that is free of judgment and
respectful to the sentiment that we all could experience similar
misfortune.
In the beginning, the intent was to assist people thatwere undergoing
financial hardships, particularly in the Christmas season.
Rob/Bob/Turk would then bring to bear his vast network of
family, friends, and colleagues to raise funds in order to reduce
holiday stress for the recipients.
This model proved to be very popular and opened an avenue for
people to give back to their community at a more personal level
while allowing many individuals and families to enjoy their holiday
season more abundantly.
Bobʼs greatest source of pride was to have a previous charitable
recipient come back in subsequent years and donate to help
another by paying it forward.
